Complete Achievement Guide for Mass Effect 2. When you first get into the Normandy SR2 after being reintroduced to joker, you will have to go to your private terminal, either next to the Galaxy map or in your private quarters and watch the three training videos on the last option in the menu. After watching all three short videos (20 seconds each) the achievement will pop. Power Full 15 G Evolve any Power For this achievement, simply max out any skill/power for one of your characters. In the "Squad" menu when you hit start, you can allocate skill points for your characters, which are earned as you level up. Once any of your character's skills are fully leveled (requires 10 total skill points), you will be asked to "evolve" your skill. This means choosing between an offensive and defensive final version of the skill. Once you make your choice, the achievement will unlock.

Highly Trained Achievement 15 G

When you first get into the Normandy SR2 after being reintroduced to joker, you will have to go to your private terminal, either next to the Galaxy map or in your private quarters and watch the three training videos on the last option in the menu. After watching all three short videos (20 seconds each) the achievement will pop.

Power Full Achievement 15 G

Evolve any Power For this achievement, simply max out any skill/power for one of your characters. For example, I earned this by maxing out Miranda's Warp skill. Once I'd put 10 points in, I was asked to choose between Heavy Warp (offensive) or Unstable Warp (defensive). Making your choice nets you the achievement. It's rather difficult not to get this achievement in a playthrough, but a solid way to get the achievement later in the game if you haven't already is to use the Re-Training upgrade. This upgrade allows you to wipe Shepard's skill points clean and redistribute them however you like. Make a save file, use the upgrade, and redo Shephard's skills, making sure to max out and evolve at least one of them. Once the achievement pops, load your save to return to your Shephard build.

Fashionista Achievement 5 G

Personalize your armor in your quarters on the Normandy Go to your private quarters on the ship and alter your outfit, either your armor or off duty outfit. You can also do this when your on the cerberus station, the outfit changer is directly ahead of you when you first get there (after escaping the attack on the other station)

Scientist Achievement 10 G

Complete any research project in the Normandy's laborator Go to the tech lab while on the Normandy. There are two computers right next to each other, access the computer on the left. Go to any category and choose an upgrade, (Orange means you can purchase it, Grey means you don't have enough resources). Choose an upgrade in orange and "research it" and the achievement will unlock. NOTE: If you need resources, go to the galaxy map and go to any planet, scan the planet for resources.

Prospector Achievement 5 G

Retrieve mineral resources by scanning and probing a planet in the galaxy map This achievement is simple. As soon as you gain control of your new ship, fly out to a planet that doesn't have a navigation marker (meaning, you see the planet, but it doesn't say what it is. Press [A] to enter the orbit of the planet, the press [Y] to scan for minerals. Hold down [LT] and move the cursor until your controller starts to vibrate, then press {RT] to send out a probe that will then collect the minerals. Achievement Unlocked.

Explorer Achievement 10 G

Visit 100% of the planets in an unexplored cluster Explore an entire unexplored Nebula

Brawler Achievement 10 G

Shoot and kill 20 enemies while they're knocked back by a punch Here is a video, there are a lot of solutions for this. You could melee then shotgun. You know when you are working towards it because a progress meter pops up when you do it correctly.

Head Hunter Achievement 10 G

Perform 30 headshot kills with any weapon on humanoid targets In the beginning of the game when u wake up in the station. U will meet a black dude (Miranda's Lt.) on the space station. He will ask u to tell him when u want him to use his special ability on the robots that are coming throw the door. Don't use his powers (RB I believe it was) instead stay in cover and head shoot every on coming robot in the head. And if u run out of ammo there should be some to the right of you on the floor. Aim precisely and the achievement is yours. Once u get the achievement than u can use his powers to stop them coming from thru the door.

Paramour Achievement 50 G

Successfully pursue a relationship with a teammate This one takes a bit of time to finally get. It will not unlock until you are about to enter the omega 4 relay for the final mission. You will need to work towards it throughout the game though. I played as a male shepard so I had to pursure a relationship with a female crew member. I chose tali but I have heard miranda would be possible as well. If you play a female shepard then I believe garrus can be pursued. What you need to do is finish the 1st mission of the character your going to romance to get them on the squad as soon as possible. I think tali was my 4th squad member. Once you have that person in the squad, go to where they are staying/working and talk to them after every few missions you do. I kept using the upper right dialogue choice as much as possible making sure what I said/chose was always trying to get personally closer to that squad member. Get their loyality mission done as soon as possible as well. Eventually with tali I got to a point where she was working on a solution to be able to take off her mask so her and shepard could be together. I ran a few more misc. missions and then went to the omega 4 relay. As soon as I went to enter it the cut scene with tali started and the cheevo unlocked. I'm assuming this method will work on garrus or miranda but my 1st playthru I could never get miranda to be nice & open with me. Tali seemed the easiest to do and the above method worked fine to unlock it. Make sure to do a save before talking to the squad member incase you select the wrong choice and the character stops being nice to you.

Long Service Medal Achievement 75 G

Complete Mass Effect 2 twice, or complete it once with a character imported from Mass Effect 1 Hopefully you played Mass Effect 1 because that will make this a lot easier, on the other hand it should be fun to play through twice. Note: for these achievements I usually revert to my last save to accomplish, if you try this and succeed please sen me a message on the request an achievement page.

Technician Achievement 15 G

Obtain 10 technology upgrades This achievement becomes possible once you recruit Mordin Solus for your team, at which point you can access the upgrades console in the Tech Labs on the Normandy. Upgrades can be found during missions by looking around, by purchasing them at stores, or by consulting with your crew members, who often have special upgrades to add. Once you have the upgrades, you can activate them either through the upgrades terminal in the Tech Labs on the Normandy, or by selecting the upgrades option in the dialogue wheel when talking to members of your team on the Normandy. Obtaining the upgrade does not count toward the achievement; the upgrade must be activated. This requires credits or mineral resources. Once you have activated 10 upgrades, the achievement will unlock. You don't necessarily have to go out of your way for this achievement. 10 upgrades is a rather small amount, and you can likely get this without any major sidequesting, though side quests would certainly help.

Scholar Achievement 15 G

Unlock 15 new Mass Effect 2 codex entries This is fairly simple, and will come easily during that natural progress of the game. To speed things up, make sure to pursue all dialogue branches to unlock more knowledge of the ME universe. Also, some entries can be unlocked by purchasing items from certain vendors Operative Achievement 15 G
Complete a mission discovered by scanning an unexplored world This achievement can easily be gained within the first hour to two hours of gameplay or less, depending on how fast you steam through the game. Upon entering Omega and finding out about the Doctor/Archangel, you will gain a mission leading you to an unexplored system called Fathar. Scan the three planets in that system and you should find a disturbance, once you track down where its coming from you'll be able to land your ship on the planet, clear the area of enemies, track down the computer and voila the achievement will be yours once the mission ends.

Incineration Specialist Achievement 15 G

Incinerate the armor of 25 enemies Use Morlin To do this. Command Morlin to incinerate armored foes, Mechs.

Warp Specialist Achievement 15 G

Warp the barriers of 25 enemies You can do this yourself or by ordering a teammate. [caption id="attachment_208" align="alignnone" width="160" caption="Miranda Lawson"][/caption]

Overload Specialist Achievement 15 G

Disrupt the shields of 25 enemies A good place to farm this is on the legion loyalty mission on The Phoenix Massing. I used miranda since she had the overload ability for one of my squad mates (it defaults to legion as the other). You can get your 1st one as you enter the initial area of the base. After that you will have 2 cannons you can hack and use on enemies and one of the enemies coming out the door has a shield. Use your ability on that one after a quick time slowdown and a shot or 2 with a gun. You will then enter a room with 2 more you can do. Slow down time, a few shots to take out part of the shield, use miranda for the overload and then hit the other one towards the door at the other end of the room. You now have 4 total and then you just reload the autosave and get another 3. Takes maybe 10 minutes to get all 25 done. Get your 3 and keep reloading the autosave until the 25 are done.

Merciless Achievement 10 G

Make 20 enemies scream as they fall or are set on fire Is Bioware going stir crazy? Have they been couped up to long, they are sick. Anyways the easiest way to do this is near the start when you first start encountering organic enemies. Be a class that can use the fire bullets skill and equip a low power weapon (assault rifle works best.) Just hit someone a few times until you notice the fire spreading (usually about half their health will be gone when it finally kicks in.) Once the fire spreads they start to scream. Easy to do on Omega. Lots of organic enemies there (mechs don't scream.) Master at Arms Achievement 15 G
Kill enemies with 5 different heavy weapons during the game Collect all heavy weapon ammo upgrade and '' Kill enemies with 5 different heavy weapons during the game'' The easiest way to get this achievement is to have access to a DLC, the M-490 BLACKSTORM PROJECTOR, with this you could get the 5 different weapons as early as you get the collector heavy weapon on the mission to protect a certain colony. If not, you will have to optain multiple ammo upgrades for heavy weapons to unlock the last one. As soon as I start my second playtrough I shall write down here where you can find thoses upgrades. (You get one at the beginning) The order you get the weapons are : M-100 GRENADE LAUNCHER ML-77 MISSILE LAUNCHER M-622 AVALANCHE Collector Particle Beam M-920 CAIN

Tactician Achievement 10 G

Hit 20 different targets with multiple biotic powers to combine the effects This one was actually pretty easy once I figured out what combo of people and biotic powers to use. I chose miranda and jacob since they were who I started with on most of my missions. Basically what you need to do is when your getting into a battle and the 3 squad members all have a pretty good line sight on the enemies you will hold RB and then target a single enemy so the crosshair shows red. Select the levitate power from miranda 1st, select the pull power from jacob 2nd and then for good measures I threw in a consussion shot from shepard for a 3rd one. I'm not sure if the order they are in has any effect if the multiple biotic attack works or counts for that matter but I went with the above method and was getting the little "X of 20 box" popping up pretty frequently. Took me about 5 missions to get the 20 . The enemies can't have any armor or shields so if they do, take it off and then use the RB wheel targeting method above.

Big Game Hunter Achievement 10 G

Thresher Maw defeated( also see video below) I am not 100% sure how frequently these things pop up or of other locations, but here is where I received the achievement: I was working on Grunt's personal mission (to gain his loyalty) on planet Tuchanka . His mission requires that your team assist him in his Rite, an old tradition that turns Krogan teens into Krogan men. Talk to the Shaman on Tuchanka to initiate the Rite. The Rite consists of three waves of enemies. The first is against Varren. The next is against these weird, insect things (not quite Rachni), and the third wave is against a Thresher Maw. To defeat the Thresher Maw, you will need to have anything good against Armor (Armor Piercing Rounds, Heavy Weapons, Incendiary Rounds) as the Thresher Maw has a very large Armor bar for health. The mission requires that you only merely survive its attacks for 5 minutes. But, to get this achievement you must beat it in those 5 minutes. In case you're curious, I had Grunt (mandatory) and Garrus in my squad. I gained Garrus' loyalty before doing this which unlocked his armor-piercing round skill. I almost primarily used heavy weapons, though. I was playing as a Vanguard and the pistols and shotgun couldn't do sufficient damage
