I just got through playing the campaign for BFBC2 and just wanted to put some thoughts up. It is a great game and the campaign is funny. Dice put in numerous jabs at MW2 in there and I think they also mocked MW2 with some of the levels.
The important things to me are that there was a lot of variation, I wasn't just running through shooting the whole time. I got to destroy buildings, tanks, helicopters etc... I used a lot of vehicle to get around, boats, helis, tanks( not enough tank time though). The weapons were pretty much the same as BFBC1 but that doesn't bother me because I don't want the to make up new guns then it would be a futuristic game.
I did not get to play online today due to a screw up with verizon and it might be a couple of days before I am online but I am looking forward to it. There were some issues with the servers today so I am glad I missed out on that. Then again EA servers are crap anyways, great games and crap servers...anyways see you on the Battlefield. |

EA will Release 2 maps on day one. The first map is Nelson Bay Rush mode at night. This is a little unusual because in BFBC
All of the released maps were for conquest mode, not goldrush. So it might be that goldrush has gained a following and there will be updates for that also.
FYI, I was just at my local Gamestop and they still were upgrading to the Limited edition so pre-order today.

Here are images and desciptions of the sniper rifles used in Battlefield Bad Company 2.
M24 Sniper uses the Nato 7.62 MM Round. It has good range and stopping power. The M24 is a bolt action with a capcity for 5 rounds. It does have 2 scope attachments.
